The Foundation of Every Ceramic Glaze
Precision-formulated glass compositions engineered for consistent quality, optimal fusibility, and superior surface finish
Our frits are technical glasses produced by fusing carefully selected raw materials at high temperature, then rapidly quenching to create an insoluble, chemically stable glass composition. They serve as the primary functional component of ceramic glazes — controlling melt behaviour, surface finish, and long-term durability.
With over 30 years of frit manufacturing expertise, we produce different types of frits ranging from opaque to transparent and from glossy to matt — for wall tiles, GVT tiles, porcelain tiles, and special applications. Our frits are also used in producing printing powders and granilla.
A broad spectrum of chemical, physical, and aesthetic properties to meet every production requirement
Full-body opacity for rich, solid-colour development
Zirconia, alumina, and zinc-based formulations that deliver complete coverage and vivid colour development. Ideal across a wide range of firing temperatures and cycles.
Crystal-clear glass for brilliant glossy surfaces
High-clarity glass compositions that help glaze fire to an optically transparent surface. Engineered for high-gloss polished tiles, deep colour enhancement, and applications where light transmission and depth are critical.
Controlled matting for contemporary aesthetics
Precisely formulated to produce controlled surface matting through crystallisation or phase separation during firing. Delivers high transparency, low-sheen finishes for contemporary tile designs and natural-look surfaces.
Custom formulations for specific requirements
Bespoke compositions developed in collaboration with your technical team. Whether you need specific thermal expansion coefficients, unusual firing ranges, or unique aesthetic effects — we engineer to your exact specification.
From the glaze line to the digital printer — frits are the foundation of ceramic surface technology
The primary application. Our frits control flow, opacity, colour development, and firing behaviour in ceramic glazes for floor tiles and wall tiles.
Fine-milled frits serve as the base material for digital inkjet printing powders, enabling high-definition decoration with metallic, glossy, matt, and textured effects.
Frits are the raw feedstock for our own granilla line. Crushed and sized to precise granulometries, they become the texture-creating particles applied to tile surfaces.
Every formulation is precisely controlled to deliver the properties your production line demands
Withstand firing cycles from 900°C to 1200°C without degradation or colour shift
Precise melt onset temperatures for predictable glaze flow and surface development
No leaching of raw materials after fusion — food-safe and durable for all end uses
Tight compositional tolerances ensure every production run meets your specifications
From fully transparent to completely opaque through alumina and zirconia loading
Surface tension control from ultra-matt to high-gloss finishes across all firing ranges
Coefficients precisely matched to tile body for zero-crack adhesion and long-term stability
Lead-free, cadmium-free formulations — compliant with international safety and environmental standards
Our team of frit specialists will help you find the right composition for your production line.
